Responsibilities
- 01Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases
- 02Collaborate with others to ensure timely delivery of your work
- 03Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design & analytics
- 04Participate in ideation and articulate technical constraints
- 05Partner on decisions that properly consider risks and trade-offs
- 06Support the operations and availability of your team's artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics
- 07Escalate issues when needed
- 08Support 'keep the lights on' & on-call efforts
- 09Contribute to a sense of community on your team by engaging in growth and development activities
- 10Participate in the interview process
Requirements
- 01Total of 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- 02Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
- 03Experience shipping mobile apps using native or cross-platform languages like React Native
- 04Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Kotlin or Python
- 05Mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components
- 06Ability to execute by writing clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code
- 07Comfortable navigating a large code base
- 08Ability to debug others' code and provide feedback through code reviews
- 09Take ownership of your growth and proactively seek feedback
- 10Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 11Either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
