Responsibilities
- 01Lead fellow developers, product managers, and designers to build amazing Scheduling features with a goal of increasing our consumer footprint at Toast and employee engagement within restaurants
- 02Flex your full-stack development muscles with challenging end-to-end tasks in a supportive, collaborative team environment
- 03Participate in designing, estimating, implementing, testing, and debugging end-to-end solutions
- 04Mentor developers through code-pairing and detailed code, architecture, and project reviews
- 05Champion best practices for development, deployment and quality life cycles
- 06Actively contribute to product design and feature selection discussions
- 07Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance your development workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building - contributing to a culture of innovation and productivity across the team
Requirements
- 018+ years experience in Java, Kotlin or other object oriented language(s)
- 02Hands on experience with modern web standards and technologies (e.g. React, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL)
- 03A proven track record of building partnerships across engineering, product, customer success, and other stakeholders
- 04Experience and interest in mentoring/leading peers
- 05Experience maintaining a high bar for quality, and guiding teams to hold a high bar for the technical quality of their deliverables
- 06Strong customer empathy and a drive to make their lives better through a thoughtful user experience, robust technical solutions, and continuous product improvement
- 07This role requires two days per week in our Dublin office
