Responsibilities

01Lead fellow developers, product managers, and designers, to build amazing Employee management features with a goal of making it easier for customers, their employees, and other toast teams to interact with employees.
02Flex your full-stack development muscles with challenging end-to-end tasks in a supportive, collaborative team environment
03Participate in designing, estimating, implementing, testing, and debugging end-to-end solutions
04Mentor developers through code-pairing and detailed code, architecture, and project reviews
05Champion best practices for development, deployment and quality life cycles
06Actively contribute to product design and feature selection discussions

01Strong foundation in Java, Kotlin or other object oriented language(s)
02Expertise in utilizing AI tools throughout the development lifecycle.
03Exposure to building AI solutions for customers.
04Experience with modern web standards and technologies (e.g. React, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL)
05A proven track record of building partnerships across engineering, product, customer success, and other stakeholders.
06Experience and interest in mentoring peers
07Experience maintaining a high bar for quality, and guiding teams to hold a high bar for the technical quality of their deliverables.
08Strong customer empathy and a drive to make their lives better through a thoughtful user experience, robust technical solutions, and continuous product improvement
