Responsibilities
- 01Lead Technical Discovery & Demos: Conduct deep technical and workflow discovery with public sector prospects; deliver customized demos showcasing Ramp’s value for finance, procurement, and compliance teams.
- 02Design Public Sector Solutions: Architect secure, scalable solutions leveraging Ramp’s APIs, ERP integrations, and compliance frameworks to meet the unique needs of federal, state, and local governments.
- 03Partner in Complex Sales Cycles: Collaborate with Account Executives to drive technical consensus across diverse stakeholders, translating technical concepts into strategic outcomes.
- 04Support Security & Compliance Alignment: Ensure proposed solutions align with FedRAMP, SOC 2, HIPAA, CJIS, and relevant procurement requirements.
- 05Guide RFPs & Proposals: Lead technical evaluations, respond to RFPs, and build ROI analyses that demonstrate Ramp’s value.
- 06Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to prioritize integrations and share public sector customer insights that shape Ramp’s roadmap.
- 07Enable Seamless Implementation: Partner with Customer Success on post-sale deployments, ensuring customers achieve value from Ramp quickly and securely.
- 08Act as a thought leader in public sector finance modernization: participating in industry events, conferences, and customer workshops.
Requirements
- 015-7 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture at a SaaS or fintech company.
- 02Strong background in financial systems, accounting workflows, and ERP integrations.
- 03Hands-on expertise with API integrations, SFTP configurations, and security protocols.
- 04Experience supporting public sector organizations, with a working knowledge of procurement processes, compliance frameworks, and IT/security requirements.
- 05Ability to influence and present to executive stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- 06Proven success navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales/adoption cycles.
- 07Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
