Responsibilities
- 01Lead the day-to-day execution of critical operational systems and processes for 24/7 AV fleet management operations
- 02Manage operational resources (equipment, technology, consumables, staffing) efficiently on a daily basis
- 03Execute operational procedures using necessary technologies and tools
- 04Serve as the primary operational head for the AV depot, driving daily performance and hands-on problem-solving
- 05Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for depot operations and address operational bottlenecks
- 06Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and safety protocols
- 07Maintain a strong floor presence, leading by example during peak operational periods
- 08Manage AV operators and technicians, handling scheduling, performance management, and training
- 09Work closely with AV technology partners on the ground, ensuring operational needs are met
- 10Oversee daily interactions with external vendors and partners
- 11Enforce all operations guidelines to adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
- 015+ years of progressive experience in site management, general management, or operational leadership
- 02Strong understanding of complex fleet management, logistics, or autonomous vehicle (AV) operations
- 03Proven track record of managing established operational sites
- 04Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- 05Exceptional people management skills including shift scheduling and performance management
- 06Highly analytical and practical mindset, capable of interpreting daily performance data
- 07Demonstrated leadership ability in fast-paced operational environments
- 08Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 09Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience
