Responsibilities
- 01Engage with Databricks’ most complex customers to help them achieve unified platform goals
- 02Develop and execute customer engagement strategies with Account Executives and Solutions Architects
- 03Coach core account teams and peers on positioning, adoption strategies and execution
- 04Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications
- 05Operate as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and adoption
- 06Contribute to technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops
Requirements
- 01Know how to engage in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity
- 02Have a technical background in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Machine Learning/AI
- 03Enjoy a high degree of autonomy and thrive in ambiguous requirements and challenging customer environments
- 04Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives through relationships and team orchestration
- 05Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (Python or SQL) and willingness to learn Spark
- 06Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
- 07Know how to provide technical solutions for specialized needs and navigate a competitive landscape
