Responsibilities

  • 01Act as an extension of the VP by attending key meetings and calls on VP's behalf
  • 02Support client development, external presentations, internal problem solving, and special projects
  • 03Run strategic planning for the business unit including scoping business priorities
  • 04Drive alignment among VP and senior leadership (VPs of Engineering, Sales, and Operations)
  • 05Lead initiatives that move the needle on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • 06Own operational rhythms for the business unit (leadership meetings, all hands, offsite events)
  • 07Own executive deliverables and special projects
  • 08Own all executive-level reporting that communicates progress and blockers
  • 09Act as primary liaison to central functions such as finance, communications, marketing, and legal

Requirements

  • 01Strong orientation towards outcomes and history of being scrappy when it counts
  • 02Effective interpersonal style for technical conversations with engineers and executive level communications
  • 03Proven ability to build high trust relationships across the organization
  • 04Experience leading small teams and managing multiple complex work streams
  • 05Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • 06Deep intellectual curiosity about AI and machine learning, particularly in national security applications
