Responsibilities
- 01Define parts of the vision and roadmap for Elastic’s Control Plane team, with a focus on new management, orchestration and scaling capabilities
- 02Collaborate with Engineering counterparts to prioritize
- 03Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis and enablement
- 04Gather market competitive and trend data, customer and community feedback and usage information to develop product insights
Requirements
- 014+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products
- 02Solid understanding and familiarity with infrastructure cloud technologies, distributed data stores and developer-focused products in general
- 03Proven track record of using AI to accelerate your work, while still owning the final outcomes
- 04Ability to collaborate across functions and teams and seamlessly transition between different projects based on business priorities
- 05Can work autonomously, drive decisions and results in a distributed team by leveraging asynchronous, direct, and transparent communication
- 06Ego-free attitude
- 07Empathy, transparency, and a good sense of humour
- 08Direct experience with the Elastic Stack, or experience with one or more of the common use-cases for the Elastic Stack, such as application search, logging, metrics, APM, business analytics, security analytics, GIS, etc.
- 09Comfortable using AI tools as part of your day-to-day work
- 10Comfort working in a very cross-functional role, with a highly distributed, global team
- 11Open source software and/or commercial open source companies experience
What we offer
- 01Compensation is in the form of base salary, no variable compensation component
- 02Typical starting salary range: $133,100 — $210,600 USD
- 03For select locations (Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, San Francisco Bay Area CA, New York City Metro Area): $159,900 — $252,900 USD
