Responsibilities
- 01Build scalable distributed systems capable of handling high traffic from 100s of thousands of devices deployed around the world
- 02Work with high concurrency key-value storage systems (Redis, DynamoDB)
- 03Work with Postgres relational databases
- 04Work with logging and message passing technologies like Kafka and SQS
- 05Deploy services via Terraform and Kubernetes
- 06Develop large scale systems to interact with and configure products remotely
- 07Define and improve low-latency, high-throughput, high-reliability microservice architectures
- 08Design and develop features incorporating cutting edge computer vision
- 09Design clean APIs and implement them using Python and/or Go
Requirements
- 011+ years backend engineering experience in a production environment
- 02BS/MS in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
- 03Experience developing and launching products
- 04Working knowledge of Python and/or Go
- 05Comfortable working in an agile team software development environment
- 06Familiarity with REST APIs, ability to read python server code a plus
