Responsibilities
- 01Align all functions to achieve Americas’s regional business objectives in partnership with the Director, Regional Business Operations and Growth
- 02Own the conception, execution, and measurement of cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
- 03Drive regular business operation meetings and initiate meaningful conversations
- 04Lead weekly meetings with cross-functional project teams to ensure key initiatives are on track
- 05Use all available data sources and tools to analyze macro and micro trends
- 06Present analysis, insights, and actionable plans to Airbnb country and regional leadership team
- 07Assist the Regional Director and Regional BizOps Director in owning the performance narrative for key metrics
- 08Deliver performance story to senior leaders in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
Requirements
- 01Minimum of 10+ years of work experience
- 02Combined exposure to data-modeling, business analytics, and project management in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
- 03Proven bias to action and ability to own a project from conception through to post-mortem
- 04Ability to work in a world of uncertainty and ambiguity
- 05World class written and verbal communicator with ability to present at all levels of an organization
- 06Proven track record of being able to storytell, influence and rally diverse cross-functional stakeholders
- 07Ability to dive into details to drive execution and zoom out to contextualize initiatives within broader company strategy
- 08Ability to multi-task by prioritizing work and coordinating required support across various functions
- 09Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to document processes & decisions
- 10Experience implementing and scaling initiatives across globally dispersed teams
- 11Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments
- 12Hands-on approach, getting things done fast
- 13Comfort with manipulating large datasets in excel is a must
