Responsibilities
- 01Build and deliver on a roadmap that balances the needs of customers and internal teams with clear prioritization based on data driven customer insights
- 02Collaborate with teams globally across multiple time zones and operate in an Agile development environment
- 03Deeply empathize with and understand Starburst personas
- 04Own cross-functional interactions for your features
- 05Collect and summarize usage data/dashboards for decision making and OKR tracking
Requirements
- 015+ years experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager
- 02Experience managing Lakehouse product offerings and their ecosystems (e.g. catalogs, permissions, metadata)
- 03Proven ability to operate in a highly technical product area where trade-off choices consider engine performance and span multiple product areas
- 04Deep understanding of the technical landscape and markets preferred (well versed in databases, data warehousing, data lakes, and familiarity with many of the data infrastructure products in industry)
- 05Entrepreneurial and self motivated personality with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments
- 06Ability to Travel: This role will require 25% in-person travel for purposes including but not limited to new hire onboarding, team and department offsites, customer engagements, and other company events
