Responsibilities
- 01Design, build, and ship full-stack growth experiments end-to-end
- 02Improve key metrics across acquisition, activation, engagement, and monetization
- 03Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and analysts
- 04Analyze experiment results and iterate quickly based on data
- 05Contribute to experimentation platform and growth infrastructure
- 06Make thoughtful engineering tradeoffs in pursuit of impact
- 07Build and ship experiments that impact core funnel steps
- 08Review experiment results and decide what to iterate, keep, or remove
- 09Improve or extend internal tooling that supports experimentation
- 10Review code, mentor teammates, and participate in team ceremonies
Requirements
- 015+ years of professional software experience
- 02Much of that working on user growth (acquisition, activation, retention) or monetization
- 03Strong, hands-on full-stack engineering skills
- 04Ability to independently design, build, and ship production changes across frontend and backend systems
- 05Demonstrated experience running product experiments end-to-end
- 06A data-driven approach to problem solving
- 07The judgment to balance speed and quality in a growth environment
- 08Comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces where the path forward is not fully defined
- 09A collaborative working style and the ability to partner deeply with product, design, and analytics
- 10Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America

- 01Tier 1 Salary Hiring Range: $224,400 — $271,920 USD
- 02Tier 2 Salary Hiring Range: $205,700 — $249,260 USD
- 03Tier 3 Salary Hiring Range: $187,000 — $226,600 USD

- 05Geographic salary tiers based on remote work location or onsite building location
- 06Tier 1: San Francisco, CA; San Jose, CA; New York City, NY
- 07Tier 2: Chicago, IL; Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Boston, MA; Washington D.C.; Philadelphia, PA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Miami, FL; all other cities in CA
- 08Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2
- 09Occasional travel for company events, team collaboration, or offsites
