Engineering Manager, Core Platform

Обязанности
- 01Lead and grow high-performing platform engineering teams that deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure and operational excellence for Vanta's products and customers
- 02Set technical direction and drive multi-quarter platform initiatives spanning infrastructure reliability, security, scalability, and developer experience across shared systems and services
- 03Partner closely with product engineering, security, and engineering leadership to identify organizational needs
- 04Translate ambiguous infrastructure challenges into clear roadmap priorities, and deliver scalable platform solutions
- 05Design and evolve internal platforms, paved roads, and abstractions that enable product teams to ship independently, securely, and efficiently without deep infrastructure expertise
- 06Guide the evolution of Vanta's cloud and data infrastructure, including AWS services (ECS, Fargate), MongoDB performance and optimization, and event-driven architecture
- 07Establish strong engineering culture, operational standards, and ownership practices that empower teams across Vanta to build and operate healthy systems responsibly
Требования
- 015+ years managing platform or infrastructure teams at high-growth tech companies
- 02Prior experience managing multiple teams or multiple charters
- 03Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and quality
- 04Track record of maintaining and scaling shared infrastructure in measurable, concrete ways
- 05Have participated in developing or driving engineering-wide initiatives (recruiting processes, career frameworks, etc) in a prior role
- 06Have prior experience managing complex, long-term projects that touch multiple teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- 07Effective communicator and story-teller
- 08Able to influence cross functional stakeholders and adjacent teams
- 09Comfortable driving technical direction across teams without relying on direct authority
- 10Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work
- 11Demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
