Solutions Engineer

01Partner with the incubation Account Executive to lead technical validation for Engineering and product development opportunities within mid-market and enterprise accounts, from discovery through proof, demo, and close
02Develop a deep understanding of product development workflows and map those workflows to Command by Asana
03Translate customer pain points into practical solution designs and compelling business value narratives for Engineering leaders and stakeholders
04Conduct technical discovery sessions, whiteboard conversations, and tailored product demonstrations
05Advise on solution architecture, integrations, admin considerations, and deployment approach
06Partner closely with existing Asana AEs, CSMs, and core Solutions Engineers to uncover and support expansion opportunities
07Build repeatable demo assets, solution patterns, technical collateral, and feedback loops
08Surface structured customer feedback, objections, and product gaps to Product, Product Marketing, and Sales leadership
09Deliver technical enablement and best practices to help the broader revenue organization

01Bring 3+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles
02Possess a strong understanding of Engineering and product development team personas, including familiarity with product delivery workflows, operational pain points, and the systems these teams use
03Maintain a deep understanding of AI coding agents and how they fit into modern development teams, along with technical concepts like API/MCP, data structure, permissions, and automation
04Exhibit excellent discovery skills to uncover customer workflows, technical constraints, decision criteria, and success metrics
05Highly proficient in designing and delivering product demonstrations, workshops, and whiteboard sessions for both technical and executive audiences
06Show strong collaboration skills, working seamlessly with AEs, CSMs, Product, Product Marketing, and other Solutions Engineers
07Comfortable operating in early-stage or incubation motions where messaging, product capabilities, and playbooks are evolving
08Bring an adaptable, intellectually curious, and strong builder mentality
09Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them

01This role can either be fully remote depending on where you live in the UK, or based in our London office with an office-centric hybrid schedule
02If based in-office: The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner
03The estimated base salary range is between €92,050 - €98,000
