Software Engineer II - Full Stack - Web Engineering

- 01Own features across the full stack from component design and backend services to deployment pipelines and ship production code end-to-end
- 02Instrument client-side performance (Core Web Vitals, error tracking, real-user monitoring) alongside backend logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and dashboards
- 03Partner with product managers, designers, and other developers to build, test, and release features for elastic.co
- 04Write clean, maintainable code and take ownership for its behavior in production
- 05Triage, investigate, and resolve security vulnerability reports — from reproduction and root-cause analysis to fix, validation, and coordinated disclosure
- 06Participate in code reviews for your team
- 07Diagnose and resolve production issues spanning client regressions to backend failures
- 08Participate in an on-call rotation for an always-on service
Требования
- 013+ years in a full-stack or frontend role
- 02Proven TypeScript and React depth (component architecture, performance, state management)
- 03Hands-on backend experience shipping and operating production services
- 04Production experience with Node.js, Python, or Go — enough to build, deploy, debug, and maintain backend services independently
- 05Experience owning CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent) end-to-end, including front-end build tooling, bundle optimization, and deployment automation without a dedicated ops team
- 06A track record of building for high availability and scalability at real production scale
- 07Ability to write secure code, identify vulnerabilities, and resolve security issues under pressure
- 08Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team
