01Works with appropriate internal stakeholders to understand and determine customer/user requirements for a set of features
02Reviews product feature code and test code to ensure it meets team standards, contains the correct test coverage, and is appropriate for the product feature
03Considers diagnosability, reliability, testability, and maintainability when reviewing code and understands when code is ready to be shared or delivered
04Tests and explores various design options for a product/solution feature, outlining strengths and weaknesses of each option
05Creates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable with minimal supervision
06Uses appropriate AI tools and practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a disciplined manner
07Applies best practices to build code based on well-established methods and secure design principles while also applying best practices for new code development and formal validation of security invariants
08Understands and applies security best practices and establishes code invariants to model 'security as code', ensuring each layer is independently secure, and minimizing risk with minimal supervision
09Adopts security standards for clear security code review practices for a set of product features that align with design and engineering principles to raise the security hardening for both protections and detections

01Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
022+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages
03Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Java, with demonstrated coding experience
042+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices
052+ years of experience with web services, distributed message processing, and managing live site issues
062+ years of experience deploying and maintaining systems, including ownership of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure components
