Release Manager, Product Development (Remote - US)

- 01Own and maintain the portfolio-wide release calendar; define scope, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines; coordinate planning across product, development, testing, and deployment phases to keep commitments realistic and transparent.
- 02Serve as the primary point of contact for release execution across Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps; run release readiness reviews, partner on go/no-go decisions, and own stakeholder communications; keep teams aligned on expectations, risks, and delivery commitments.
- 03Manage production deployment schedules, including coordination of release windows and sequencing; ensure rollback and contingency plans are defined and tested; support incident response and resolution during release activities as needed.
- 04Identify, track, and mitigate risks that could impact release timelines or quality; work proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate blockers; drive continuous improvement of release processes to reduce risk over time.
- 05Partner with DevOps to improve release automation, pipeline reliability, repeatability, and deployment speed; promote best practices for feature flagging and controlled rollouts (e.g., LaunchDarkly).
- 06Partner with internal stakeholders to execute early adopter release programs; coordinate recruitment, planning, feature enablement, and deployment sequencing for EA cohorts; enforce controlled rollout practices — feature flagging, access management, rollback readiness; drive smooth EA-to-GA transitions; help define and improve scalable processes, tooling, and governance to support growth of early adopter programs without increasing release risk; contribute to continuous improvement of early access frameworks to balance speed, quality, and client experience.
- 07Monitor post-release performance and stability; turn signals from the field into ongoing improvements in release management, tooling, and governance.
- 08Champion AI-driven planning, testing, release validation, and operational automation across the PDLC; promote adoption of agentic AI to compress cycle time, raise quality, and scale delivery.

- 01Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
- 02Proven experience working in Product Development environments.
- 03Experience supporting SaaS‑based software products.
- 04Hands‑on experience using Jira for planning, tracking, and release coordination.
- 05Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and non‑technical teams.
- 06Experience working in health technology or regulated software environments.
- 07Prior ownership of release management for multi‑team or multi‑product portfolios.
- 08Experience with feature flag and release management tools (e.g., LaunchDarkly).
- 09Demonstrated ability to lead teams through high‑pressure deployment schedules.
- 10Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
- 11Experience using and enabling agentic AI capabilities within the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), including AI‑assisted planning, testing, release validation, monitoring, or operational workflows
