- 01Set and articulate a clear design vision that aligns with company strategy and product roadmap
- 02Ensure the design team is working on the most important company initiatives
- 03Champion a high bar for craft, usability, and emotional resonance across all product surfaces
- 04Balance speed, experimentation, and polish in a fast-moving environment
- 05Be a hands-on design leader who’s willing to use the tools to help push forward a vision
- 06Partner deeply with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product direction from early concept through launch
- 07Drive user-centered decision-making using qualitative and quantitative insights
- 08Influence prioritization and trade-offs with a strong product and business mindset
- 09Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing product design and design engineering team
- 10Establish clear career paths, feedback loops, and growth frameworks for designers
- 11Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- 12Hire exceptional design talent
- 13Own and evolve the design system to support rapid iteration and consistency at scale
- 14Define lightweight design processes that integrate seamlessly with product and engineering workflows
- 15Ensure design quality stays high as the product and team grow
- 16Partner with research to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and mental models
- 17Ensure research insights meaningfully inform product strategy and design decisions
- 18Advocate for testing, learning, and iteration throughout the product lifecycle
Требования
- 0110+ years of product design experience, with several years leading and scaling design teams
- 02Experience building and shipping consumer technology products at scale
- 03Strong background working closely with product and engineering leaders
- 04Experience in AI-driven, creative tools, or complex technical products is a plus
- 05Exceptional taste and a strong point of view on design quality
- 06Systems thinker who can zoom out to strategy and in to details
- 07Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast
- 08Strong communicator who can articulate design rationale to diverse audiences
- 09Empathetic leader who develops talent and builds trust
- 10Product-minded designer who cares deeply about outcomes, not just aesthetics
- 11Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
