01Lead the execution of commissioning test procedures across assigned systems including pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, and integrated systems tests
02Review and provide input on commissioning test scripts, MOPs, punch lists, and turnover documentation
03Serve as a field-level technical resource for troubleshooting and resolving commissioning deficiencies across mechanical or controls disciplines
04Coordinate with trade contractors and subcontractors to schedule, sequence, and support commissioning activities on-site
05Verify installation conditions against approved drawings, submittals, and specifications to confirm readiness for testing
06Track and drive closure of open deficiencies, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution
07Support integrated systems testing and reliability demonstrations for critical MEP, and BMS/EPMS infrastructure
08Participate in factory witness testing and startup validation activities as assigned
09Maintain complete and accurate commissioning records, field reports, and turnover packages
10Mentor and provide technical guidance to Junior CxE team members in the field
11Ensure adherence to Crusoe commission requirements and collect feedback from the field to improve the commissioning program
12Communicate progress, risks, and technical issues clearly to the management team
13Adhere to and help enforce site safety protocols and compliance requirements throughout all commissioning phases

014+ years of experience in data center commissioning, building systems, or critical infrastructure construction
02Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; equivalent field experience considered (CxA certification a plus)
03Solid understanding of data center systems including cooling infrastructure, and BMS systems
04Working knowledge of commissioning levels L1 through L5 and associated documentation and testing requirements
05Ability to independently execute and troubleshoot functional and integrated system tests
06Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, single-line diagrams, submittals, and equipment specifications
07Strong documentation habits with the ability to manage multiple open items accurately in a fast-paced field environment
08Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across trades, contractors, and internal project teams
09Willingness to travel to project sites as required (75% travel)
