Senior Software Engineer, Onsite Customer Growth

- 01Design, build, and evolve scalable backend services, APIs, and user-facing product capabilities that power Attentive’s onsite growth products
- 02Lead technical design for new features and platform improvements, making thoughtful tradeoffs around reliability, performance, maintainability, and speed of execution
- 03Partner closely with product, design, AI, and data teams to develop intelligent, data-driven capabilities that improve performance and user experience for customers and end users
- 04Anticipate future product and platform needs, and proactively design solutions that support team growth, product expansion, and increasing scale
- 05Improve system observability, resiliency, and performance to ensure our onsite experiences remain fast, reliable, and effective at scale
- 06Serve as a technical leader on the team by driving design discussions, raising the engineering bar in code reviews, and mentoring other engineers
- 07Contribute to a strong engineering culture through high-quality implementation, pragmatic architecture, and a focus on measurable customer impact
Требования
- 015+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with strong experience building backend systems, product platforms, or customer-facing applications at scale
- 02Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, or TypeScript
- 03Experience designing and operating distributed systems, APIs, and microservices, with a solid understanding of reliability, scalability, and performance
- 04For backend candidates: deep experience building service-oriented systems and data-intensive applications
- 05For full-stack candidates: strong backend fundamentals plus experience building high-quality frontend applications and collaborating closely on end-user experience
- 06Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern developer tooling, such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational databases, caching systems, queues, or streaming platforms
- 07Ability to translate business goals and product ideas into clear technical plans and execute effectively across functions
- 08A track record of writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code and holding a high bar for production quality
- 09Curiosity, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for building products that drive meaningful customer growth
Условия
- 01This hybrid role is based in our New York office, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday each week
- 02The US base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $230,000 annually + equity + benefits
