Lead Web Designer (Remote Eligible - Costa Rica)

- 01Drive visual design for marketing product, crafting high-converting landing pages, interactive web experiences and digital campaigns
- 02Create task flows, wireframes and low- to high-fidelity interactive prototypes based on user and business data
- 03Provide assets, specifications and guidance for UI implementation throughout development
- 04Rapidly iterate on prototypes and designs for A/B testing and experimentation
- 05Follow and improve existing design patterns and style guides
- 06Create UI deliverables and specification documents, including detailed redlines, for developer hand‑off
- 07Support the UX team in user research, usability testing, information architecture and interaction design
- 08Collaborate across teams and departments
- 09Design user experiences across digital and physical touchpoints adhering to style guides and design systems
- 10Share and document knowledge with peers
- 11Advocate for process improvements related to production efficiencies and best practices
- 12Manage a mix of large and small projects with overlapping priorities
- 13Research new tools and best practices
- 14Work with other departments to understand user needs and communicate them to cross‑functional product teams
- 15Design high‑fidelity, conversion‑focused landing pages, campaign hubs and core website updates for SaaS audience
- 16Collaborate with Motion Designers to create lightweight web animations using LottieFiles and JSON
- 17Build, update and manage web pages directly within Drupal ensuring visual consistency
- 18Maintain and scale marketing design system in Figma, Creative Cloud and Brandfolder
- 19Work closely with front‑end developers, content marketers and SEO specialists to ensure feasibility, responsiveness and optimization
- 20Network with peers and stakeholders to drive technology and UI improvements
- 21Serve as a consultant to help business units shape project scope
- 22Perform other job duties as assigned
Требования
- 018+ years experience designing exceptional experiences for complex, data‑driven web and mobile applications, especially B2B or SaaS
- 02Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, conversion‑driven design and interactive web elements
- 03Passion for and understanding of the full human‑centered design process
- 04Proven ability to craft simple, creative solutions for complex problems
- 05Strong interaction design and prototyping skills
- 06High proficiency with UX/UI tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Zeplin) and design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
- 07Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (JSON knowledge a plus)
- 08Comfortable working closely with developers to execute designs
- 09Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 10Highly organized, able to track and document work
- 11Academic studies or certifications in Design Thinking, Human‑Centered Design or UX/UI design (plus)
- 12Experience creating and implementing web animations using LottieFiles and JSON (plus)
- 13Hands‑on experience building and managing sites within Drupal or similar CMS
- 14Marketing acumen: understanding of digital marketing principles and user journey mapping
- 15Nice‑to‑have: experience with user testing, heatmaps (Hotjar, CrazyEgg), analytics, SEO best practices, and creating assets for social media or paid campaigns
