Senior Software Engineer - Connected Workflows

- 01Design and build end-to-end Connected Workflows features across web, mobile, backend services, and platform integrations
- 02Lead technical projects from discovery through rollout, including architecture, implementation, testing, observability, and launch
- 03Improve the scalability, reliability, and extensibility of the Connected Workflows platform as usage grows across customers and product areas
- 04Partner with Product and Design to turn customer needs into simple, powerful workflows for field and operations teams
- 05Raise engineering quality through thoughtful code reviews, testing strategy, operational excellence, and mentorship
- 06Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles
Требования
- 015+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 02Strong experience building production web applications and backend services
- 03Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Java, C#, or equivalent)
- 04Ability to lead complex, ambiguous projects across multiple systems and stakeholders
- 05Strong product judgment and a customer-focused approach to engineering tradeoffs
- 06Experience designing APIs, data models, permissions, and scalable service boundaries
- 07Comfort mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction without relying on authority
- 08Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional partners
