- 01Define AI capabilities and set boundaries for autonomy versus human control
- 02Architect AI-driven workflows, multi‑step and agent‑to‑agent interactions, and system logic
- 03Establish decision frameworks for when the system should act, ask, escalate or defer
- 04Design for uncertainty, failures and edge cases as core system behavior
- 05Shape human‑plus‑AI workflows and end‑to‑end experiences, defining the human‑in‑the‑loop
- 06Ensure AI outputs are trustworthy, accurate and usable in context
- 07Define quality, evaluation and reliability criteria for AI systems
- 08Design evaluation scenarios, feedback loops and analyze failure modes
- 09Collaborate with ML scientists, product managers and designers to translate research into product
- 10Prototype and run focused experiments to isolate variables and generate insights
- 11Act as a bridge between AI research, technical capabilities and user needs
Требования
- 01Strong product judgment and ability to make high‑quality build decisions
- 02Experience influencing without formal authority
- 03Background in zero‑to‑one product development and comfort with ambiguity
- 04Deep understanding of large language models (LLMs) and traditional ML approaches
- 05Experience defining design principles, heuristics or evaluation criteria for AI systems
- 06Proven track record of identifying and addressing AI system breakdowns in real‑world use
- 07Scientific mindset with ability to design rigorous experiments
- 08Systems thinking – designing behaviors and flows rather than visual polish
- 09Open to non‑traditional backgrounds (product managers, engineers, etc.) with strong product sense
