- 01Building and maintaining critical systems that serve Claude to millions of users worldwide
- 02Designing intelligent routing algorithms that optimize request distribution across thousands of accelerators
- 03Autoscaling our compute fleet to dynamically match supply with demand across production, research, and experimental workloads
- 04Building production-grade deployment pipelines for releasing new models to millions of users
- 05Integrating new AI accelerator platforms to maintain our hardware-agnostic competitive advantage
- 06Contributing to new inference features (e.g., structured sampling, prompt caching)
- 07Supporting inference for new model architectures
- 08Analyzing observability data to tune performance based on real-world production workloads
- 09Managing multi-region deployments and geographic routing for global customers
Требования
- 01Significant software engineering experience, particularly with distributed systems
- 02Results-oriented, with a bias towards flexibility and impact
- 03Ability to pick up slack, even if it goes outside your job description
- 04Interest in learning more about machine learning systems and infrastructure
- 05Care about the societal impacts of your work
- 06Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- 07A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

- 01Annual Salary: £225,000 — £325,000 GBP
- 02Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time
- 03Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
