- 01Lead a team of software engineers to build a next-generation low-latency, multi‑tenanted, cloud‑native data warehousing system
- 02Grow the team by hiring strong engineering talent
- 03Participate in technical, product and design discussions for cloud‑native database systems
- 04Manage and operate a highly available service in the cloud
- 05Coach, mentor and develop leaders within the team
- 06Define product and engineering roadmap for the team
- 07Partner with other engineering and product leaders on planning, prioritization and staffing
- 08Create a culture of excellence while leading with empathy
Требования
- 015+ years experience in database systems, data processing or related domains
- 02Experience building highly available cloud services on AWS, GCP or Azure
- 03Proven ability to build, grow and manage high‑performance engineering teams
- 04Experience defining and meeting SLOs for highly available systems
- 05Ability to attract and hire engineers meeting Databricks hiring standards
- 06Comfort working cross‑functionally with product management and partners
- 07Preferred experience with Rust

- 01Salary range: $190,000 – $261,250 USD (Zone 1)
