Forward Deployed Engineer

- 01Work on a variety of impactful customer technical projects including designing and building reference architectures
- 02Create how-to's and productionalize customer use cases
- 03Work with engagement managers to scope variety of professional services work with input from the customer
- 04Guide strategic customers as they implement transformational big data projects, 3rd party migrations
- 05Perform end-to-end design, build and deployment of industry-leading big data and AI applications
- 06Consult on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement customer projects
- 07Provide escalated level of support for customer operational issues
- 08Work with Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect and Customer team to ensure technical components are delivered
- 09Work with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback
Требования
- 01Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics
- 02Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala
- 03Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one
- 04Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals
- 05Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
- 06Working knowledge of MLOps
- 07Design and deployment of performant end-to-end data architectures
- 08Experience with technical project delivery - managing scope and timelines
- 09Documentation and white-boarding skills
- 10Experience working with clients and managing conflicts
- 11Build skills in technical areas supporting deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions
- 12Travel to customers 10% of the time
