- 01Define and continuously refine a company-wide technical vision for autonomous, agentic SDLC
- 02Identify and prioritize non-linear productivity opportunities across the SDLC
- 03Translate ambiguous problem spaces into concrete, iterable roadmaps
- 04Lead hands-on experiments and prototypes to validate agentic workflows
- 05Design and implement reference architectures for agentic SDLC
- 06Define evaluation frameworks to measure agentic workflows
- 07Select and own high-impact internal use cases and drive them to adoption
- 08Work with engineering teams to embed agentic workflows into day-to-day development
- 09Define and track core productivity metrics and link interventions to business outcomes
- 10Capture and codify reusable patterns, libraries, and playbooks
- 11Work with Product Management to convert internal patterns into product capabilities
- 12Ensure designs respect multi-tenant, compliance, and data governance requirements
- 13Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical and architectural decisions
- 14Mentor Principal and Staff Engineers
- 15Write clear design documents, architecture narratives, and decision records
- 16Represent GitLab in the broader ecosystem at conferences and standards groups
- 17Partner with Security and Compliance to define guardrails for agentic features
- 18Work with Reliability and SRE teams to ensure agentic services are observable and resilient
Требования
- 0110+ years of software engineering experience
- 024+ years in a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical leadership role
- 03Deep expertise in AI and ML systems, including large language models, agentic frameworks, and autonomous workflow design at production scale
- 04Proven track record of leading hands-on technical experimentation
- 05Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems, including service decomposition, fault tolerance, observability, and operational resilience
- 06Experience designing and implementing human-in-the-loop controls
