Обязанности

01Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a microservice architecture
02Design, develop, test and maintain systems that represent the real-world intricacies of logistics entities
03Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry to work on complex business and technical problems
04Architect and drive major projects while coordinating with multiple stakeholders
05Work closely with business partners and product managers to distill complex business problems into elegant technical solutions
06Build and launch products rapidly and incrementally
07You play a significant role in the career development of others, actively mentoring and educating the larger software engineering community
08Ensure our products maintain a high-quality bar
09Tackle difficult and subtle system-level issues, emphasizing simplicity and long-lasting designs
10Geek out about shipping and logistics

015+ years of experience writing software, and a strong engineering background
023+ years of design and architecture knowledge as well as familiarity with object-oriented analysis and design patterns (OOA/OOD)
03Experience of building large scale, high-performance systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment
04Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python or C++
05Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
06A love of simple, well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break
07A bias for action
08The ability to convey technical ideas in common terms to business partners, product managers, and engineers alike
09Experience of effectively and reliably delivering large projects involving multi teams/orgs
10Understanding of performance tradeoffs, load balancing and operational issues
11Demonstrated ability to mentor junior software engineers in all aspects of their engineering skill-sets
12Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle
13Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
