Обязанности

01Design, build, and implement software solutions to optimize and scale the Instacart platform and related technologies as part of the Core Experience team
02Developing highly scalable software using innovative computer science and software engineering principles while ensuring proper protocols are in place to rapidly roll out upgrades and new features
03Analyzing and optimizing expensive SQL queries
04Enabling sophisticated, data-driven features that adapt to customer shopping behavior
05Leading strategic planning and execution of development projects, from inception to deployment and maintenance
06Implementing high quality solutions to create engaging and straightforward shopping experiences, focusing on everything from the user interface to the underlying systems supporting web and mobile platforms
07Executing ongoing testing and analysis of current systems, including independent performance analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting; determining design solutions to problematic programming

01Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent)
025 years of experience in the job offered or related
035 years of experience working with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar programming languages
045 years of experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems
055 years of experience working with API query technologies, such as GraphQL
062 years of experience working with machine learning model development and iteration
072 years of experience working with client/server architectures and application architectures
082 years of experience working with large codebases on cross-functional teams
