Обязанности
- 01Lead the design and implementation of Smartsheet's next-generation architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance for millions of global users
- 02Define and drive architecture strategy, making key technical decisions that shape the future of the platform
- 03Architect and evolve Smartsheet's Identity and Access foundation — spanning authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle — ensuring it scales securely across enterprise, multi-entity, and regulated environments
- 04Craft and drive the strategy for Agentic Identity, defining how AI agents authenticate, are authorized, and are audited across the platform, and establishing identity patterns for agent-to-service and agent-on-behalf-of-user flows
- 05Review and guide technical project designs, providing feedback during design review presentations to ensure system resilience and scalability
- 06Take ownership of cross-functional technical initiatives, aligning teams around common architectural goals while driving large-scale projects to completion
- 07Foster strong technical leadership, mentoring senior engineers and influencing best practices across multiple engineering teams
- 08Lead deployment reviews for high-impact projects, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and security requirements
- 09Collaborate closely with product management and other business stakeholders to balance market needs with technical constraints, driving innovation while maintaining technical rigor
- 10Drive the strategic integration of sophisticated AI capabilities into complex multi-system architectures, defining patterns and best practices, serving as a thought leader who identifies and leads AI initiatives to address technical challenges and improve productivity across groups
- 11Advocate for quality and operational excellence, ensuring systems are monitored, tested, and maintained to meet the highest reliability standards
- 12Perform other duties as assigned
Требования
- 01Proven experience in system architecture and the design of scalable, high-availability systems across multiple programming languages and frameworks
- 02Deep, hands-on expertise in Identity and Access Management — including authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.x), SCIM-based provisioning, session management, and multi-factor enforcement at enterprise scale
- 03Demonstrated experience designing identity strategy for agentic and AI-driven systems — machine identities, delegated authorization, token exchange, scoped agent credentials, and auditability of autonomous actions
- 04Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices
- 05Strong experience in leading large-scale architectural transformations, with the ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams
- 06Expertise in web application development, data structures, and object-oriented design
- 07A track record of mentoring senior engineers, leading them through architectural challenges, and ensuring they grow into strong technical leaders
- 08Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives
- 09Experience with cloud architectures and infrastructure at scale, as well as database optimization for performance and scalability
- 10Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, driving initiatives forward while aligning with business objectives
- 11Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, driving engineering best practices across teams
- 12Legally eligible to work in India on an ongoing basis
- 13Fluency in English is required
