• 01Work with engineering teams to design, develop and deliver cloud based infrastructure projects on a modern tech stack (Redis, Docker, Terraform on AWS)
• 02Drive evaluation, development and rollout of new common features and frameworks
• 03Operate, support, and upgrade shared services and frameworks
• 04Scale these as their usage invariably grows along with Okta's business
• 05Conduct design and code reviews
• 06Ensure high programming standards by writing unit and functional tests
• 07Monitor, troubleshoot and fix services and frameworks the team owns
• 08Evaluate system performance and resolve bottlenecks
• 09Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• 10Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, security and operations engineers

Требования

• 01Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; master's preferred
• 028+ yrs of expansive programming experience in an object-oriented programming language like Java, especially in backend services
• 03A superior understanding of multithreading, garbage collection, memory management
• 043+ yrs experience of working with MySQL or equivalent relational database systems
• 053+ yrs experience developing, operating, optimizing and troubleshooting web services on Kubernetes
• 06Demonstrated experience of working with ReST and thorough understanding of its fundamentals
• 07Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Tomcat, AWS, Redis, and Docker
• 08Knowledge of network security, authentication and authorization
• 09Demonstrably followed best software engineering principles
• 10Experience with enterprise SaaS as a good-to-have
• 11Familiarity with Agile software development process
• 12This position requires the ability to access federal environments and/or have access to protected federal data
