• 01Leverage cutting-edge AI pair-programmers and LLMs (such as Copilot and Claude) to accelerate the development of secure, enterprise-grade Privileged Access Management (PAM) products
• 02Work with engineering teams to design, develop and deliver cloud-based privileged access management solutions
• 03Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features using modern JavaScript and cloud-native backend technologies
• 04Lead technical design for key initiatives, driving quality, scalability, and maintainability
• 05Build reusable and performant UI components for a best-in-class no-code builder experience
• 06Drive evaluation, development, and rollout of new features and common platform components
• 07Evaluate existing systems to evolve them for serving in specialized circumstances to support Okta's future business needs
• 08Conduct thorough design and code reviews, ensuring that proposed solutions account for scalability, redundancy, and multi-tenancy
• 09Uphold high programming standards by consistently writing comprehensive unit and functional tests
• 10Monitor, troubleshoot, and fix services and frameworks the team owns
• 11Evaluate system performance and resolve bottlenecks
• 12Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• 13Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, security and operations engineers

• 01Immense passion for doing the right thing to help Okta's technology stay ahead of its anticipated business growth
• 02Extensive experience with cloud based software security product development
• 03Solid technology chops in architecting, implementing, tuning, and debugging some of the largest cloud deployments in the enterprise world
• 04Good understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
• 05Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; master's preferred
• 069+ years of extensive programming experience in a modern programming language like Go, Java, or C++ especially in backend services
• 07Good knowledge of modern frontend javascript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue etc.
• 084+ years experience working with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database systems
• 09Demonstrated experience of working with REST and thorough understanding of its fundamentals
• 10Experience with AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Kinesis, Kafka, and Docker
• 11Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization
• 12Demonstrably followed best software engineering principles
• 13Familiarity with Agile software development process
• 14Previous experience at Security firms is a huge plus
