Responsibilities
- 01Set the technical and product direction for making Webflow code-native, including high-fidelity round-tripping between visual and code surfaces
- 02Lead the integration of coding agents into the Webflow building experience
- 03Own the developer experience of working with Webflow in code, from core primitives and APIs to tooling and feedback loops
- 04Turn an emerging problem space into a coherent roadmap, sequencing foundational platform work with customer-facing capabilities
- 05Partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams across Webflow
- 06Stay technically engaged through architecture, design reviews, prototyping, and hands-on contribution where it has the most leverage
- 07Hire, coach, and develop engineers while building a high-performing technical culture
Requirements
- 01BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 02Have 4+ years experience leading engineering teams building developer products, platforms, or technically complex product surfaces
- 03Have strong enough technical depth in areas like compilers, code generation, language tooling, IDEs, or developer infrastructure to actively shape architecture
- 04Have experience building with AI or agentic systems, or demonstrated ability to get deep in the space quickly
- 05Have a track record of turning ambiguous technical problems into systems that customers can actually use
- 06Are comfortable balancing long-term architecture with the pressure to ship and learn
- 07Have a leadership style that combines high technical standards with strong coaching and team development
- 08Stay curious and open to growth — actively building fluency in emerging technologies like AI to unlock creativity, accelerate progress, and amplify impact
