Responsibilities

  • 01Strategic Campaign Development & Management in partnership with Director of Campaigns
  • 02Design and implement strategic campaigns leveraging tactics such as rider and driver activation and engagement
  • 03Develop campaign plans with clear goals, timelines, budgets, and messaging
  • 04Lead cross-functional collaboration across Policy, Communications, Legal, Product, Marketing teams
  • 05Represent Lyft on industry policy coalitions, building third-party support
  • 06Oversee campaign execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • 07Act as a thought leader on political strategies, messaging, and tactics across the company
  • 08Own and drive Lyft's short-term and long-term political contribution strategy
  • 09Set vision and strategy for Lyft's Federal PAC and State PACs
  • 10Identify high-impact opportunities to expand Lyft's political footprint
  • 11Serve as subject matter expert on political giving strategy
  • 12Ensure comprehensive compliance with campaign finance law across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
  • 13Lead quarterly state and local political giving cycles including planning, budgeting, approvals, execution, and tracking

Requirements

  • 01At least five years of experience working in political campaigns, legislative advocacy, PAC activities, corporate political affairs, or related fields
  • 02Demonstrated expertise in campaign finance law and compliance
  • 03Proven track record of building and scaling corporate PAC programs and political giving operations
  • 04Strong understanding of political strategy, project management, budget management, and compliance
  • 05Experience managing relationships with elected officials, political committees, and fundraising networks
  • 06Demonstrated ability to lead complex political campaigns, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and manage internal relationships
