Responsibilities

01Design and build provider-agnostic abstractions for storage, messaging, and connectivity
02Build tooling that lets internal teams provision, configure, and operate services across clouds through one consistent interface
03Hunt down provider-specific assumptions hiding in the codebase and set patterns to prevent new ones
04Own end-to-end delivery of Claude onto third-party cloud platforms including build, release, and validation pipelines
05Work directly with engineering teams at cloud partners and internal infrastructure stakeholders
06Debug platform issues and influence cloud provider roadmaps
07Review designs with cloud-portability implications
08Mentor engineers across the organization on multi-cloud patterns
09Participate in on-call rotation
10Design postmortems, runbooks, and incident response procedures

01Minimum of 8 years of practical experience building and operating production distributed systems
02Experience owning large-scale infrastructure systems
03Experience leading ambiguous, cross-team technical projects from design through production
04Experience running the same production workload across multiple cloud providers
05Understanding of how cloud IAM models and networking primitives differ across providers
06Ability to write production code in at least one general-purpose programming language
07Work confidently with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
08Understanding of ML infrastructure and supporting interconnects
09Experience shipping software through hyperscaler marketplaces or managed-model platforms
10Background in security, compliance, or data residency for regulated or sovereign cloud environments
