Responsibilities

01Review purchase requisitions and orders to determine proper CAPEX vs. OPEX treatment
02Review and analyze complex capital accounting entries and reconciliations
03Partner with Project Managers, Cost Control, Tax, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to identify and capitalize in-service project assets
04Prepare and reconcile assigned monthly and year-to-date PP&E roll-forwards for Crusoe's consolidated and unconsolidated legal entities
05Prepare and support other monthly reporting and fluctuation analysis
06Support audit and due diligence requests as needed
07Contribute to team performance management, goal setting, and professional development
08Drive process improvements and efficiencies, and serve as a resource to the team and business partners on accounting matters and problem-solving
09Perform other duties as assigned

015–8 years of fixed asset accounting experience, combined with general ledger accounting experience
023–6 years of experience managing and developing teams
03Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
04Strong working knowledge of GAAP as it relates to CAPEX vs. OPEX determinations
05Familiarity with internal controls, SOX compliance, and accounting best practices
06Understanding of consolidations, joint ventures, and intercompany transactions
07Exposure to and understanding of month-end financial reporting processes
08Aptitude for working smarter and constantly seeking ways to improve processes and drive efficiency
09Keen attention to detail
10Ability to balance speed with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
11Enjoys managing and leading others, with a genuine interest in helping team members succeed
12Ability to work independently, take ownership, solve problems, and succeed in a rapidly changing environment
13Ability to think ahead, anticipating issues and proactively identifying solutions
14Proficiency with ERP systems, reconciliation tools, advanced Microsoft Office, and other automation/reporting tools
