Responsibilities
- 01Scale up our business by designing, building, and supporting easy-to-use React/Typescript applications
- 02Set standards for accessibility and design system use
- 03Make and implement technology decisions that support business needs without compromising security, privacy, or quality
- 04Enhance existing systems to add new functionality, and to improve performance, stability, quality, and security
- 05Advocate for high standards; make quality-of-life improvements to the codebase; and help limit the growth of technical debt
- 06Build deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset
- 07Communicate regularly and effectively within and on behalf of our cross-functional product delivery teams
- 08Mentor and learn from other engineers
Requirements
- 017+ years' experience building, shipping, and supporting web applications
- 025+ years of experience with React
- 03Have independently worked and delivered a small web app or entire feature in a larger web app
- 04Excitement about working in our mobile tech stack, which includes React, Typescript, and potentially Electron
- 05Ability to act with autonomy & self-direction while working well in a team environment
- 06Willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- 07Are comfortable with working across domains and languages with a curiosity to experiment & learn new things
- 08Deep expertise in using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows
