Responsibilities
- 01Work within customer systems to build production applications with Claude models, ensuring that these products meet customer requirements
- 02Deliver technical artifacts such as MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills that will be used in production workflows
- 03Provide deployment assistance for Anthropic products in enterprise environments
- 04Identify and codify reproducible deployment patterns and provide insights to our Product and Engineering teams
- 05Maintain a deep knowledge of the latest developments in LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development tech stacks
- 06Establish long-term relationships with customers and proactively identify new AI deployment opportunities throughout the engagement lifecycle
- 07Travel frequently (25-50%) to customer sites to build personal relationships with them
- 08Be a champion of Anthropic's mission in the field
Requirements
- 01More than 4 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as forward deployed engineer, or as a software engineer with consulting experience
- 02Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and large-scale deployment
- 03Strong programming skills with mastery of Python (and ideally one or more other languages like TypeScript, Java, etc.) and experience shipping production applications
- 04High agency, able to overcome the ambiguity that characterizes complex organizations
- 05High cooperation spirit for cross-organizational collaboration, balancing competing priorities with integrity
- 06Passion for promoting safe and beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications
- 07Strong communication skills to lead exploratory discussions with customers and convey technical concepts to various stakeholders while maintaining a humble and collaborative attitude
- 08Experience in financial services, healthcare/life sciences or another business sector is a plus
- 09Experience with enterprise IT systems and/or AI deployment patterns is a plus
