Responsibilities
- 01Perform routine building maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair of plumbing, HVAC, electrical/transformers, and carpentry requests
- 02Conduct maintenance of assigned interior and exterior areas, including painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling/flooring tiles and carpet, fixtures, and roofing systems as assigned
- 03Perform inspections and repairs to walls, floors, installed fixtures, doors/hardware, and building envelope
- 04Respond to work tickets for leaks, HVAC issues, electrical problems, and general break/fix; complete preventive maintenance on assigned assets
- 05Aid janitorial and site staff with general support, including moving furniture and equipment, disposing of construction waste, and set-up and tear-down of special event areas
- 06Support campus-wide operations and maintenance programs as assigned by facilities leadership
- 07Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when needed
- 08Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets in the site work-order system
- 09Adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
- 01High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 022+ years of experience with facilities maintenance
- 03Ability to read instructions and basic floor plans or blueprints
- 04Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- 05Self-motivated; works well with others and autonomously
- 06Good written and verbal communication skills
