Responsibilities

01Lead a team responsible for performing inspections, testing, maintenance, and repair of campus-wide systems; including mechanical/HVAC, electrical, compressed air, dust collectors, plumbing tasks (backflow preventers/etc), as well as other preventative maintenance and repair programs covered by facilities operations
02Lead and direct a team of plumbing, compressed air, electrical, and HVAC-focused facility technicians
03Schedule daily work and prioritize assignments
04Develop, plan and execute site improvement projects in accordance with overall business objectives and strategy
05Know and understand all safety procedures of SpaceXAI in order to observe the work of contractors and bring safety concerns to their attention as needed
06Report all unsafe acts and conditions which remain uncorrected to supervisor
07Allow no work to be performed when conditions are considered unsafe
08Maintain appropriate records for all trades as required
09Know and understand mechanical equipment such as: chilled water systems, boilers, VFDs, pumps, PLC’s, condensers, split systems, air compressors, dust collectors and other mechanical equipment
10Communicate with Manager on daily activities, projects, team moral and concerning issues
11Manage vendor/contractor finances
12Work with SpaceXAI buyers and accounts payable to assure accounts are maintained
13Oversee team of techs, driving overall performance and effectiveness through individual coaching and development
