Responsibilities

01Manage the team’s performance, goals, and career development, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where engineers can do their best work
02Partner with product management and technical leads to define the strategic direction and roadmap for the team
03Ensure the team maintains a high bar for quality, security, and operational excellence through effective processes, mentorship, and a focus on testing and automation
04Lead the team in adopting new technologies and practices, including the integration of AI into the software development lifecycle
05Drive key projects from inception to delivery, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with stakeholders
06Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent, building a diverse and high-performing team for the long term

01Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, including performance management and career growth planning
02Demonstrated experience managing technical projects from planning to execution, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD
03Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
04Strategic mindset with experience contributing to product and technical roadmaps
05Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
0610+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years of experience designing and building enterprise grade software
072+ years managing engineering teams, balancing new feature/product development and maintaining existing features
