Responsibilities
- 01Hire and bootstrap the Core Frontier team in Bengaluru
- 02Set the technical bar and engineering culture for our growing presence in the region
- 03Foster deep collaboration with our global teams in Europe and North America
- 04Work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment with engineers, managers and partners across Product, Security, Design, Architecture and QA
- 05Adapt and evolve engineering processes and best practices
- 06Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize the roadmap
- 07Run people and team management activities such as coaching, 1:1s, performance reviews, ceremonies
- 08Be responsible for team's health and delivery, and reports growth and performance
- 09Maintain a hands-on approach by participating in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contributing to the codebase
Requirements
- 0110+ years total experience
- 023+ years of engineering management experience
- 035+ years as an individual contributor
- 04Experience leading teams that build highly reliable, secure, and scalable distributed systems
- 05Passion for coaching engineers at various career stages
- 06Ability to communicate effectively and build trust across different time zones and functions
- 07Systematic approach to tackling technical and organizational challenges
- 08Ability and desire to remain technically capable
