Responsibilities

01Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s) in your designated territory
02Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions
03Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications
04Be a 'champion’ for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
05Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups

017+ years of presales/customer-facing technical experience
02Know how to engage in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity
03Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success
04Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark
05Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s)
06Know how to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape
07Can travel up to 30% when needed
