Responsibilities

  • 01Set strategy and lead product initiatives that help more businesses successfully adopt and use Stripe Tax
  • 02Improve the speed, accuracy, reliability, and usability of Stripe Tax calculations and related workflows
  • 03Expand support for the geographies, tax requirements, industries, products, and business models that matter most to Stripe users
  • 04Build capabilities for complex tax needs, such as registrations, exemptions, address and fulfillment logic, tax customization, and other business-specific requirements
  • 05Develop scalable products and platform capabilities that work across Stripe’s ecosystem, including integrations, connector apps, marketplaces, and Connect platforms
  • 06Partner across Stripe to create coherent end-to-end experiences spanning calculation, collection, reporting, and tax management
  • 07Use customer insight, market context, data, and technical understanding to prioritize investments and make clear tradeoffs
  • 08Align senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners around a shared product direction, measurable outcomes, and an execution plan

Requirements

  • 01Significant product management experience, including ownership of complex, platform-oriented, or technically deep products
  • 02A track record of setting strategy and delivering multi-team initiatives with measurable business and customer impact
  • 03Strong judgment in prioritizing across customer needs, market opportunities, operational complexity, and engineering investment
  • 04Experience working closely with engineering and design partners to build reliable, scalable products
  • 05The ability to communicate clearly with executive stakeholders and to align diverse partners around a shared direction
  • 06Curiosity about global commerce, financial infrastructure, tax, compliance, payments, marketplaces, or developer platforms
  • 07A customer-first mindset and the ability to turn complex requirements into simple, effective product experiences
