Responsibilities
- 01Drive high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to provide the best customer experiences
- 02Lead backend and cross functional projects to achieve long term goals as well as deliver short term roadmaps
- 03Lead large features from idea to successful execution and launch
- 04Own systems and components within the team and be accountable for their short term functionality and long term health
- 05Participate in code and architecture reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge, as well manage call rotations and proactively improving processes
- 06Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
- 07Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, mentoring others, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices
Requirements
- 01BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience
- 025+ years of software engineering/production infrastructure industry experience
- 03Experience designing, debugging and running fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems
- 04Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
- 05Experience working with databases, relational or NoSQL
- 06Led a set of components or system from design to launch
