Responsibilities
- 01Review and formally sign off on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports
- 02Act as the primary point of contact to lead external audits and resolve highly complex compliance issues that have little or no precedent to guide them
- 03Formulate a long-term view of local regulatory trends and business implications
- 04Partner cross-functionally with global legal and corporate tax units and regional business units to ensure local country filings are executed flawlessly, on time and align with broader company objectives
- 05Drive strategic financial system optimization (Oracle/NetSuite) to scale statutory and compliance reporting architectures
- 06Actively pioneer the adoption of new automation and technology tools (including AI and advanced data analytics)
Requirements
- 0110+ years of progressive accounting and tax compliance experience
- 02Proven experience acting as a primary reviewer for audited statutory financial statements in a multinational corporate framework
- 03Extensive progressive accounting and tax compliance experience, with a proven track record of managing highly complex processes, driving strategic initiatives, and navigating ambiguous, precedent-setting financial scenarios
- 04Demonstrated capability to analyze unique, significant business issues, evaluate intangibles, and independently formulate creative, effective solutions
- 05Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required
