Responsibilities
- 01Lead the dbt product design team including managing and coaching designers
- 02Own UX strategy for dbt products and define design priorities
- 03Provide design direction for technical data products and complex workflows
- 04Shape AI and agentic product experiences within dbt
- 05Help integrate Fivetran and dbt Labs design systems and culture
- 06Build an AI-native design operating model across the design lifecycle
Requirements
- 018+ years of product design experience
- 02At least 5 years managing product designers
- 03Strong people management skills including coaching and performance development
- 04Strong cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Marketing, and executive stakeholders
- 05Deep care for craft with a leadership style focused on direction
- 06Technical fluency to understand data workflows and partner with engineering leaders
- 07Comfortable discussing data workflows, ELT, analytics engineering, developer tools, and infrastructure-oriented product experiences
