Responsibilities
- 01Define and own a multi-quarter product vision and strategy aligned to Brex’s highest company priorities
- 02Identify high-leverage opportunities that create durable competitive advantage, not just incremental improvements
- 03Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams, systems, and stakeholder groups
- 04Develop deep domain expertise in your area (e.g., financial infrastructure, risk systems, growth systems, payables ecosystem, etc.) and use it to inform product direction
- 05Partner closely with Engineering to design scalable technical systems, engaging meaningfully in architectural discussions and tradeoffs
- 06Set clear success metrics tied to company-level outcomes and hold teams accountable to measurable impact
- 07Drive structured decision-making in ambiguous environments, balancing speed with rigor
- 08Influence senior leaders and executives through clear thinking, strong written narratives, and data-backed recommendations
- 09Improve product craft and operating standards across the organization, mentoring PMs and elevating how we build
Requirements
- 017–10+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading complex, high-impact product initiatives in high-growth B2B or fintech environments
- 02Experience building platform or financial infrastructure products is strongly preferred
- 03Proven ability to define product strategy that translates into measurable business outcomes
- 04Strong fluency in technical systems and architecture
- 05Comfortable discussing APIs, data models, experimentation frameworks, and system tradeoffs with engineers
- 06Highly data-driven
- 07Strong experience defining metrics, running experiments, and using SQL (or similar tools) to guide decisions
- 08Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 09Ability to influence senior stakeholders through structured thinking and compelling narratives
- 10Ability to reason holistically across product, technical, operational, compliance, and revenue systems
- 11Demonstrated ability to raise the quality bar — for product thinking, execution, and customer experience
What we offer
- 01Role based in San Francisco, Seattle or New York City office
- 02Must be willing to work in the office at least three days per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
- 03Employees will be able to work remotely for up to four weeks per year, for a minimum of one week at a time
- 04Expected salary range $240,000 - $300,000
- 05Starting base pay depends on location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity
- 06Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package
