Responsibilities
- 01Build APIs, scale AI infrastructure, and design developer experiences that reach millions of people.
- 02Set technical direction by driving system design decisions around data modeling, performance, correctness, and reliability.
- 03Identify scaling bottlenecks before they become problems.
- 04Ensure systems are performant, observable, secure, and resilient under real‑world production load across infrastructure such as Vercel, AWS, and Turbopuffer.
- 05Mentor engineers through in‑depth code reviews and high‑level architectural discussions to elevate team skills and impact.
- 06Collaborate with product designers, backend, and frontend engineers using TypeScript and Next.js to define polished interfaces and slick user experiences.
Requirements
- 018+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 02Experience building open source software with a focus on taste and developer experience as a craft.
- 03Strong written and verbal communication skills to solve technical problems with customers.
- 04Experience building with TypeScript (bonus).
