Responsibilities
- 01Own critical backend and platform components that orchestrate distributed compute (Spark, Trino) for enterprise customers
- 02Lead the design and implementation of JVM-based services and the surrounding infrastructure
- 03Provide architectural leadership, cross-team influence, and long-term platform ownership
- 04Author Kubernetes manifests/Helm charts
- 05Own CI/CD for complex Java codebases
- 06Implement secure enterprise authentication flows
- 07Implement Metrics, Distributed tracing, and structured logging for JVM services
Requirements
- 018+ years of professional backend experience
- 02Strong expertise in Java (primary and required)
- 03Production experience building JVM-based services
- 04Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production
- 05Extensive experience designing and evolving RESTful APIs
- 06Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes
- 07Strong Docker experience
- 08Practical AWS experience with S3, IAM roles/policies, and AWS SSO
- 09Familiarity with secure authentication mechanisms: OAuth2 / OIDC, token-based auth, and session management
- 10Proven experience leading architecture across multiple services or systems
- 11Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team RFCs, influence engineering standards, and raise the technical bar
- 12Ability to travel 25% in-person

- 01Salary range: 440,000 - 540,000 PLN annually
